Fordy's views from kentish football. Looks like we may go into the Woking game not a sprepared as we would like but on the upside its an earner for the club

After reading the article in the link above I get the feeling that Mr Ford is disappointed with the decision that has been made. If true he needs to remember that his duty is to get the best line up on the pitch whereas there is a bigger picture in running the club and sometimes he will have to be over ruled. It's no ones fault in particular it could be a clash of different priorities and something has to give. There are arguments both for and against playing the match....... But someone has to make the decision.

Priceless. He moans about the lack of budget in one breath and then in the next complains because someone tries to do something about it.

If you take into account that we have to pay Lawson's wages for the remainder of the season I can see the reasoning behind the game although I dont know if it was wholly down to our instigation.

Thought last night was a worthwile exersice from the clubs point of view, although I would have liked to have seen us play 3 5 2 which is the system that i think suits us best.

On that note what do people think the line up will/should be forSaturday.

I would really like to see the opinion of Boom Boom Bally, Chelwing and BKK.

In particular Boom Boom Bally who I met in Sidcup today and seems a very portly chap.

Trig - Firstly i thought BOOM BOOM BALLY had a better ring to it than PORTLY BALLY OR UGLY BALLY although would  have been more appropriate.

With regards formation, following digestion of my dinner this will follow BUT REMEMBER, IT IS ALWAYS 1 (KEEPER) 1 (SWEEPER) AND 9 (OTHER PLAYERS ALL MARKING) - WHAT DICTATES, IS YOUR CHOICES OF PLAYERS, WHICH THEN DICTATES THE FINAL FORMATION

SORRY ITS CAPITAL LETTERS, NEVER VERY GOOD AT JOINED UP WRITING - B B B

Chelwing is of course away sunning himself in Greece and indulging in the occasional beer. Not that he has a view worth considering anyway.

Bubbles - Who's looking after you now, now michael J has passed away ??

With regards PORTLY i was meant to say PURE SOLID lard of a belly - remember, speak to the VCD U13s coach with regards my "HALF VOLLEY" of a goal in the dads match : Thou would mot match my TWO goal for Thomas Woods against Oxford Road back in the late 70's, which meant i had to suffer and play for Oxford Road for 14 years with a few in between years off

To both Bubbles and Trigger - depentant on the ELEVEN players choosen to commence the game my formation would always be 3 5 2 as 99% of teams tend to play with two forwards, thus even when you start with a 4 4 2 formation you PUSH ON one of your fullbacks into midfield therefore ending up as 3 5 2. When you commence with 3 5 2 you tend to have a sweeper and TWO traditional centre backs whilst starting withh a 4 4 2 system you have a sweeper and ONE traditional centre back. IMPORTANTLY IF YOU PLAY A TEAM WITH TWO STRAPING CENTRE FORWARDS YOU PREFER TO PLAY WITH TWO CENTRE BACKS AND OF COURSE YOUR SWEEPER

What we all must remember is Welling will be a lot stronger at the beginning of this season than they were at the beginning of last seaon. Yes there have lossed some good players from the end of last season. That will happen TO MOST TEAMS, IF NOT ALL. Be patient the manager has and will take the club forward

I can't believe what I've just read...

What a load of rubbish, my suggestion is distract the referee and have 1 goal keeper, 4 in defence, 4 in midfield and 4 strikers.

Hope your interview went well. Hope you wore a suit and a conservative looking tie and when asked any question beginning with 'how' always give at least 3 answers.
