I am glad you mentioned Steve Perkins as I thought he was great tonight apart from one mistake just before half time. Great player to have round.

I'd definatley go with your glass half full mentality JGFC.

Have to agree about Porno - a real quality signing.

In regards to player absence according to Kentonline Minton missed the game due to a family illness. Also Fordy says in his programme notes that he expects to have the majority of the injured players back in 7-10 days- in time for the difficult weekend of Braintree at home and Dover away.

A very good first half performance and we continued that umtil Bastock got sent off. Then we went to pot. We let in 2 goals and were hanging on. We won but we will have to play for the full 90 minutes if we want to win anymore.

Clarke is a pure goalscorer. He won't do a lot else but that doesn't matter if the others play to their ability. Michael Deane certainly looks a good signing despite what most of the wallies on this message board were saying.
