With Andrews back on the bench, and therefore not far from a return, King, Perkins and Parkinson who can all play there really is no need for another centre back.
Any word on the street about this centre back loanee that's meant to coming in about now?
I find it a bit dissapointing this sort of information come out on internet message boards rather than through more official press releases.
Not suprised players are being released as the squad is too big now players are coming back from injury.
But what about this loanee centre back?? Hopefully the Minton money will be used to bring in a quality midfielder, as I feel we need one to go with the centre back.
I refer to my comment in another thread about Minton not making it to Christmas at the Wings and it appears I was right. Strikes me as a desperation signing/stop-gap based on needing someone in that holding role, and once other players have become available, like Porno, he is surplus to requirements.
If its true about his mother then I wish them both all the best ... and Minton all the best anyhow. Nice guy it appeared, but I think BSS is above him now.
