Perks - i could be wrong with this statement but he is the most experienced and oldest of the squad so stick with him

dont give it to Parkinson as he's young and just let him play his football with no extra pressure

I understand what your saying but sometimes giving the armband to a younger player can make them play better and sometimes brings more into there game but i suppose it depends on who it is

We need someone that can shout loud, control the midfield and not be afraid of giving orders.........  er, sounds like Matthew Panting or Trigger wink

For me, Mr Parkinson would fit the bill.

All the players that have been mentioned Perkins; Andrews, Parkinson and Mitten are good quality choices and there are sound reasons for all of them. However, there is one player that has been over-looked....... Lee Protheroe.
My reasoning.
1. He won't ever get injured as with all players back he will not need to be picked.
2. Mr Ford can communicate with him throughout the entire match as he will be standing next to him.
3. It will spur all the players on the pitch to play well, not just those who are positioned around a playing captain.

I said Mitten before, still think he would be the one. Parky a bit young and Perks only just come back. We need a leader though and someone made captain publicly.

Am I Right In thinking That The Captains Armband Has Been A Jinx his Season,
Preseason Spencer Knight Wore It, and During the Season Perkins, Parkinson, Minton and I think King may have put it on.!!
   Like It as I would Charlie Mitten To be captain Please Mr Ford Dont Do It he's Been our best player in my eyes this season the last thing we want is to find a new keeper!!!blankstare
