Proths played second half last week was steady as was Bukare at left back. Sambrook and Deane subbed half time both having stinkers. Whitnell was poor last week assume Hobbs back up front with Stone. Johnson played last week did ok for first game back.
gaisie up front, radio kent report that king and andrews are winning everything at the back, and wings are the stronger team going forward. Would loved to have been there, unfortunately recovering from swine flu!
Have yet to see Gaisie play myself let's hope he does well. King and Andrews looking a good pair wouldn't take Mambo back at moment. Couldn't make it myself either, sounds like you were wise to give it a miss (wish you a speedy recovery)!

Good for Welling JgFc. Just remember next time a match lasts 90 minutes not sixty.... Anyway, after all the pre-match bollox you spouted (again) You go home with egg on yout face..... hang on, you were already at home because you didnt go to the game, again..... Do you ever go and support the team you say you support ? You appear to be in the mould of the 98.7% of "Manchester United" supporters. The 98.7% refers to the percentage of them that have never seen Man U play.... Probably only go to a couple of games a season. Hope to see you at your place next year (thats if you turn up.......!!!)
Spitey, hes scored a few lately which is more than the others have. Seems today weve missed chances but competed until going behind.

You didn't miss any chances JGFC because I don't think you had a one shot on target all game. Prehaps you need to get to a game to see for yourself. Sorry, you had one glaring chance but Hook saved it, ie the penalty!
We matched Dover in the first half, and got into some promising postitions but it all fell a way in the box as our strikers aren't of Conf. South quality, and simply not good enough for this club.
Second half was just a case of Dover's extra quality showing through. We could still be playing now and not scored. The players gave their all but aren't up to standard. I didn't see too much improvement from last time we were their, which just shows the injury crisis isn't to blame forus being ****.
It's been 7 months since we beat AFC Wimbledon away and since then Ford has been digging himself a grave with some horrific decsions in the transfer market.
We've not scored in SIX of the last EIGHT games. And kept ONE clean sheet, when our goalkeeper was man of the match!!! a receipe for relegation.
I'm not sure how much longer this can go on.
We not even in mid-October and we have 30 games to go and what are we playing for? What are our aims for the next 8 months? To not get relegated? Because that's not good enough for.
I dare somebody to tell me I'm wrong or unfair. I am telling it how I see it and it destroys me inside to say it.
Today proved why Dover are promotion canditates and Welling are relegation hopefuls!
Maybe it has more to do with not fully paying creditors back? and going over budget about 5 times this season? Let me know if im wrong but your manager said you were over budget BEFORE Davis, Southall, Leberl and Rocastle joined the Crabble gravy train? youve probably signed more players too in that time frame.
Theres a hole in my bucket, Dear frenchies Dear frenchies

Anon you arent far wrong, Proths and Fordy havent set the world alight, we have probably lost out on signings and released one or two we shouldnt have. The thing is on a budget that is reduced, if you show Fordy the door, who replaces him? He will have no funds... and he will have to have some sensational contacts to bring in 4 or 5 people of top of the table BSS standard.
Fordy has done it before, people have mentioned he had Adie and Dack as assistants there could be mileage in that.
Has Fordy got the balls to make big decisions? Does he even know whats wrong? Will he act now to change things.
I think hes the BEST man for the job, given the budget restrictions. Other than that you go and get someone from the lower leagues who works for nothing on a budget of £1000 a week and see what they can do.
The issues at the club commercially are hurting us, but they have TRIED to be ambitious, get a decent manager. He isnt really cutting it this season. There is no better candidate. Maybe he needs a stronger assistant? or should that be more experienced assistant?
RE are we just aiming to beat relegation? , probably yes but thats more to do with how bad the team have done this year rather than the ambitions of Manager and Owners.
Despite Andy having the backing of the fans and very little in the way of criticsm from the fans, now we are out of the cup and struggling in the league he has to get things turned round or he could be "evicted from PVR" .
I will not be slagging the Hobbins off as i have seen they have tried. My only advice would be shape up commercially or decide where the club is going and wether or not you want to be at the helm or sell it on to someone who wants to pile in the money and commercial department.
Its an interesting 2 or 3 weeks coming up at Welling. We dont need everyone getting on Fordys back, but for the first time in his Welling career, he has to deliver and show he can turn things around.
COYW and FYDA

I agree sacking Ford won't help at the moment and Andy strikes me as the sort of guy that will walk if he believes he can't turn it around.
I accept we won't be as good this season as last because of the budget, but Andy said he was going to have as stong a 12 or 13 players as last season, but the size and quality behind that won't be as good. And if I look at our first 11 players then they're inferior to last season.
To be honest it would have been a massive ask to knock Dover out even if Andy had put a decent side together as their budget is three times our, thanks to having more fans, sponsors & debtm but nevertheless we're not good enough.
Dover have had every game so far this season sponsored and already have sponsors lined up for the rest of this season. We've not had one gaes sponsored and have not shirt deal.

At the end of the day we still beat you and you didn't go to the game. As far as I know Dover is now self sufficient and doesn't rely on borrowing to get by. Don't forget we are 12k better off after our two fa cup games; that by itself pays the wages for a while. Plus we have a weekly Striker draw which generates thousands each week. Plus, we have a great new clubhouse which also generates thousands each week.

I forgot to add we average gates of over a thousand so that helps pay for the quality we have in the side.
JGFC; go back to your little surburban 2 up 2 down on the outskirts of Bromley and watch the cars drive up and down the A20.
A real game of two halves. More than matched them first half but the writing was on the wall pretty quickly in the second. You just knew we were going to miss the consolation penalty at the end as well and despite the disbelief in some quarters I thought the crowd was accurate as well, although I lost count at 986. The positives - well the first half was ok, the walk back to Kearsney station is really nice and I got loads of work done on the train. Still there's always the Trophy.

We were better in the first half and then we let in a goal in the second half. After that we fell apart. As for Dover showing their class I wouldn't say they were better than us over 90 minutes. As everyone knows at this level you need big blokes to win and that is why Dover won. I wouldn't say their skill levels were better than ours. We need some strength. Another Kedwell is required urgently.
Alright I was wrong. I bet you don't know the name of the road from Dover to Deal without looking at an atlas!
BTW, you weren't the better side until we scored you just looked dangerous down the flanks and anything you pumped into the box was mopped up nicely by our defence. You had to give it a go as JGFC said there was nothing to lose.
