Looking at the video it amazes me how the ref lets players walk him backwards. Watch him on our penalty, their appeal at the end plus the final whistle. Why does he not stand still? and if the players get right in is face then they're off. It is such cowardice and he should shows who's in charge. What a wimp!
That referee was useless when dealing with confrontation from the Lewes players. Unless i missed something, no Welling players crowded the referee at any point.
Cheers, seen it now. I think the ref done ok under the circumstances. He didn't have to show a red card after the final whistle but he's already booked 2 players for dissent so lewes were warned and can't complain. As for our boys, they showed great dicipline and showed determination in getting a goal and you could see how much it meant to them when they celebrated. Good work boys!
