Quote from: Gary C on Today at 09:53:57 AM This is quite a strange turn of events now - you'd have thought all the details would have been ironed out before all of this had been confirmed... have Welling done their homework or have they jumped the gun?
Seems to be some talk on their boards about players going to Welling because of Day... hope that's not the case.
It does seem a bit odd, as I thought it was pretty common knowledge that JD was in the frame, and he doesn't strike me as the sort of guy to say TB had agreed it if that wasn't the case. Equally, as Welling have specifically stated that they thank DFC for releasing JD from his committments, they surely must have understood this to be the case.
I sincerely hope it's not a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing in the DFC boardroom, because washing our linen in public would make us look very amateurish indeed.
.....
I agree with the darts fan above As i said Dartford Amatuers and a Pub team. Do they really think Welling would announce it if they hadnt been told by someone from Dartford or Jamie that he was allowed to go?
