I'd very much like to go to that silly little shopping centre they have in Dartford wearing my Welling scarf and tell the whole town to **** off! Dartford and everything in it is ****! I hope they have fun playing in the Happy Shopper League next season as they won't be getting out of it any time soon :D
Just saw on the Dartford forum that they call Princes Park 'the Old Trafford of non league football. Now I know that it is a nice new shiny stadium, but I would not say that it is the best in non league football. For a start the capacity isn't that big and it only has 600 odd seats. I think that their old ground had more seats and a larger capacity.
I think the old trafford quote shows illusions of grandeur.
I see from the NLP Today that Hobbins as admitted that they were wrong in the approach for Day and have apologised for it, so this should be the end of it because we have got to visit Dartford this season and yes its ok to run them down if you are going to that game which I dont think you are JGFC so all you are doing is trying to wind these supporters up but if you cant face them face to face why say it behind a internet name then let the real supporters who will go to the game take the flak for your stupid remarks.
As for the old trafford remark about the ground I think this came from one of there players when interviewed on the Non League programe on a monday night so looking at their site I think they have just picked up on it which any one would do.
I support the wings but I also follow non league football and as much as it saddend me to say it Dartford are a club that are on the up and will possibly pass us on the way up and they are a very professional run club, who were the not in the wrong over the day situation but we got our man let this be the end of the silly remarks.

Pot and kettle anyone?

JGFC dont let it get to you, over the seasons gone by you know where and what you have done and dont have to explain to anybody, its a forum for peoples opinions. Nobody can be right all the time. MR HAYE LOST US A FEW BOB. thats shallot
Just when I thought things had improved I log in and ..........................
I recognise that 'slagging off other clubs' is a part of football culture for some supporters and has been since time immemorial, though it is not an element of the culture that I choose to indulge in. There has certainly been plenty of it from both sides consequent upon the appointment of Jamie Day. However why JgFc should be singled out for 'slagging off' Dartford defeats me as there have been several other posters who comments have been at least as vitriolic unless of course it was done to provoke the type of response for which he was once well known and which he has duly provided. Let this be the end of it.
Can we please all remember that we are all individuals and as such have our own opinions and ways of expressing them but the common factor is that we all support Welling United.

I had posted on here but just looks like a rant. Happy to see you face to face at Dartford.
Yes I have the pm, but refuse to answer such a silly question, and really your the mug,
As I said ealier hobbins as admitted that Welling were in the wrong and we should accept that and I am sure Jamie Day holds no grudes towards Dartford or their Fans so why do you.
I will be happy to meet you at Dartford or anywhere you want

JgFc, please read the highlighted bit of this person's post. Because now you're slagging off your own pal. Unlike you, I have left the WHOLE quote in, so it makes a bit more sense...
