Crikey - Margate has also just lost another central defender, Liam Harwood, to Tonbridge who made a seven day approach for him.  Harwood is a very good young player with Football League aspirations.  Tonbridge offered him more money than Margate could muster to keep him.  I thought the Angels were pushed for cash at the beginning of the season, and they were looking to offload one of their strikers, Carl Rook, for a transfer fee.  With Boothy still on board and a few other decent players there they must still have a bit of dosh.
I hope Harwood is not eligible for the Trophy match.
