Very good draw...Eastbourne are currently fourth from bottom of the BS Premier and have only won one league game away from home this season. If Whitnell and Pugh play like they did on Sunday we could win this one with ease....
That is what I thought as well Kev, I can understand a league game but not another Cup game. Although if we have to play on another day I would love to see Friday night given a go, not sure Eastbourne would fancy it though.

Not wishing to stir anything up but would we get a better gate on a Sunday as opposed to a Saturday? Could be better for away fans to get to PVR. I only say this as we had 510 yeaterday compared to 452 in the league the previous week.

i noticed the attendance on the match report and have to say im impressed how many turned up (and im guilty of not myself as dont often do the cups apart from the fa cup)
Well certainly winnable.........many Conference sides dont take the Trophy that seriously although in their position I doubt Eastbourne are one of them
Ready for the trumpets, saxaphones and cowbells anyone.....
As far as I am aware the reason for you standing behind the goal Bertie will not be at the game they have not been to any matches this season full stop
Changing the subject some what I liked the new kit I believe it is Macron who have provided it. I t would be nice to see a new sponsor on it soon, I would imagine they will not be sold in club shop until a sponsor has been found?

Well, as a Welling Fan who lives in Eastbourne, I have seen Eastbourne play a few times this season and I have to say - even though their season isn't progressing as well as last, they have always shown up at the games I've attended - unlucky on many occaisions not to get anything from it.
Daysey will know a little bit about how Eastbourne operate as he turned our for them last season.

Our opponents brought a fair few to boost the crowd. Lots behind the goal and more around the ground. I thought that our showing behind the goal looked one of the worst that I have seen. Not having a go at anyone but I am not convinced that Sundays are the answer.

Not a bad little number! But I thought it was to be Vandanel providing the kit. That's what someone said at the start of the season.
I don't think people should jump to conclusions. I was there on Sunday but can't make it tonight despite my season ticket as there was no one to look after my kids until after 7pm. There are all sorts of reasons why people may not be able to make a game and the weather couldn't havt help. Switching the game to any other day may mean peope can't make it. Actually I was delighted as I was working Saturday.
As for our home supprt - basically its rubbish isn't it. A half hanted chant once in a blue moon and vociferous slagging as soon as things don't go well. Harsh maybe but about 94% accurate I'd say.
