I find the following statement from the above report somehwat biased and cynical. Perhaps the author should have looked at the photos of the game
When Hobbs tried to burst through, Haines collapsed, first holding his knee and then his face in a cynical attempt to suggest a second yellow card was warranted for the Welling striker.
He touched him, but it was a glancing blow as opposed to the near death experience the falling to the ground suggested.
Was it a foul, yes possibly. Probably even. Did he make a meal of it and try and get Hobbs sent off, almost definitely.
In addition, Haswell is a mug. This statement was only further backed up by his ridiculous haircut to add to confirm the "Im in love with myself and my own self-importance" attitude he proved to have in his short time with Welling. Simples.
Chelmsford deserved their win though. We were awful. They were pretty good in patches.
Not as bad as their No. 8 elbowing Michael Deane twice then diving and getting our bloke booked. Worse was the 11 stamping on Grahame Andrew's back. Both of these were missed by the ref and lino.
Fair play to Chelmsford they were lucky v 9 men at their gaff and they played the ref at ours and took their goal.
If teams are going to come and play the ref then we need to play them better.
In the Conference we had a few players who got stuck in early and won the right to play. Perhaps its time to get a hard bastard in the middle whos a bit wiley and can get in the refs face.

I felt last years Hampton and Richmond hackers played fairer than Chelmsfords 3,4,10 and 11.

Hash on the 11 - thought he was CLASS at the other end of the specture the 4 was a top draw DICK HEAD (carried by the other players around him)
THAT PICTURE / INCIDENT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE E& B STAND - IF THE REF WAS ANY GOOD, SHOULD HAVE BOOKED THE 4 FOR CONNING - TO BE FAIR TYPICAL REF WHEN BEING ASSESSED - POOR
