I have to laugh at that report, the first half was so one sided if it was a boxing contest the towel would have been thrown in, really disappointed not to be a couple of goals up at half time, Gary Noels goal in the second half was long overdue, Only a wicked deflection from a weak shot got Welling's equaliser, the winner was justice on a very dominant performance from the Rams, who also hit the Bar twice and hit the Post twice, shame it was £10 entry and £6 for kids, that is not the way forward, but still a nice and friendly place to visit, good luck for the rest of the season.

Welling United: Laryer, Reed (Mulhiville 65), Obersteller, King (Starkey 46 (Marshall 74)), Hopkins, Axle, Stevens, Clarke, Marsh, Hobbs, Bakare. Subs not used: Burbridge, Lord-Anderson.

One player in the whole squad who you could call a certain first X1 starter and you won 2-1 congrats. with only 3 others who have even been in a first x1 squad this season.

By the end of the match I'd say that Croydon were the better side, but it certainly wasn't one sided. Also they had their first team playing and we had at best a reserve side and nearly got a draw. Oh and if our shot for a goal was weak, the goalkeeper would have saved it surely. Yeah i could only name four of our players I'd actually heard of. I would also rate the KSC and FA Trophy as more important than the LSC, but it still would have been nice to have won :)

Agree if you turn up you play to win. Beating a team of that standard is probably to be expected and on team sheets Croydon would have been favourites.

I wouldnt have thought anyone at Welling will be dissapointed to be out.

I think i win the prize. I recognised 8. 4 first team squad players and four reserve players who have made the bench this year or last.

I talke it Callum Starkey is the son of Ian?
