I dont understand our line up today.

We played Pugh up front as a lone striker with Sam Hurrel (a winger?) behind him in front of a midfield of four. Soon afterwards we seemed to have alternated with Finn and Loui swopping sides and Sam moving out to the wings as well. To be honest they never really looked like troubling us but defensive errors cost us the game.

When Steve King arrived it made me think that maybe a 3-5 -2 formation would work. This would allow us greater potential going forward and three solid defenders.

Whichever way it would lead to a better potentail than we showed today

I would have had King on at the start and Jack in midfield. Having said that, I don't think Jack was at his best today.

God knows what we're going to do up front with Pugh finishing his loan today. Lets hope the loan can be extended.

I don't think Jack has been at his best in the last couple of games. I just wonder if the weight of the captaincy is proving too much.

I'm not sure what you think Jack would have added to the today's midfield Alan. What we need is a holding midfielder as a playmaker. If you were at the Worcester match look how much time Daysy brought to our side and his distribution and compare it with today's midfield who seemed to rush their play and all too frequently gave the ball away.

I just think Jack is a better player than any of the midfielders playing yesterday and King is a better defender.

Also, I think if Graham Andrews hadn't been playing we would have shipped a lot more goals. He was definately my MOM yesterday with Pugh very close behind. I think Pugh's commitment and attitude have been superb during his loan period and good luck to him for the future.

I dont think our defence is the problem at the moment we not conceding many goals at all in fact we have kept alot of clean sheets since Jamie has taken over. I do agree on the fact if Pugh does go what happens then because we have only scored 1 goal now in 3 games.

Now we have Steve King back, Day can move Jack up to midfiled, or rest him, as yes he has been been below par for the last few games. Ryan was awful yesterday, come to think of it so was Sambroke !. So its time for Day to earning his money.

Pugh join us on the 19th of Nov, so maybe we get one more game out of him ?.
However we do need a big taret man up front.....
Anyone know the bobby on our injury list ?.....
