Very impressed with the Newport County commentary, that although not great in quality, is at least reflecting fairly on the game and offering no bias. They have even praised us for playing well and taking the game to Newport, rather than park the bus like many.

Up the Wings, 2-2 now. Whitnell with both.

Excellent game and very entertaining.

Great comeback by the Wings and two great goals by Tommy Whitnall and a great second half and but for a great save Whitnall would off got the winner and a hat trick.

Daisy superb and the boys done us proud.

I'm very proud of you lads - a tremendous fightback and we almost turned them over.  A fine day to be a Welling United supporter - but there have been a lot of fine days since Daysie took over.  However, its a long journey to Newport and back and let's hope the team is not jaded for the important game at Hampton.

Brilliant result. County had won their previous 8 Home games.


Hampton next up. They are on a dreadful run and were one down at half time today.

Can't wait to get down there and give them some abuse on tuesday. Corrupt bastards!

WELL DONE DAISY AND THE LADS.

Great performance judging from the Newport live commentary for which the commentators should be complimented.

Despite the early disappointments this season many believed that we always had the potential. Daysy and his management team have unlocked that potential and we are now running on gas. Long may it continue.

He has cetainly built the foundations. Must be the best football and results of any Welling team in recent History. With the promise of more to come. Can he do what others have failed to do and keep it going to the end of the season.
