Just to let you know

The WSU have taken over the running of the club shop.

We have a limited amount of stock for sale (polo shirts, fleeces, baseball caps, car scarves, car stickers etc.)

At the moment we don't have the team shirts but hope to get them in as soon as possible.

Do you have any Welling United mugs?

Good luck running the club shop. Is this a permanent venture?

I was expecting an answer like that from someone!!

I was referring to the tea holding china vessel type of mug! Someone at work broke my last one!

Yes to both questions from Ben

On the mug front we have one style in two different colours and one style in one colour.

Providing it is worth while (and there's no reason it shouldn't be) then it will be as permant a fixture as possible.

Hopfully it should be open from 13.00 -15.00 and then again at half time

Is Peter Mason no longer to be involved with the running of the shop?

If not, I feel we should all express our thanks to him for all the great work he has done in the past. It might be nice if the WSU organised a collection for people to make donations for a gift for him. I would certainly contribute.

What do others think?

Thats an excellent Post. Peter was superb for decades and its hardly his fault that there has been no stock recently.

I look forward to the WSU completely filling the shop next season and having a wide variety of stock.

Danson Mark

Just heard from the club

There's nothing on the pump but IF the game goes ahead then they'll get some bottles in, but the forecast isn't good. Any more rain and the pitch might just up and float away.

I have let the WSU know I am always happy to help them out.

They asked to run the shop going forward and to concentrate on clothing and souvenirs, so we have removed and stored the programmes.  The WSU have my best wishes and I hope they are successful.

To make it crystal clear, in reference to one of the posts above, I would far rather any funds are spent in stocking the shop rather in my recognition.

In answer to another question there are three designs of mug available, one in white with a red crest, one in black with a red crest, and one primarily in red.

Peter is there no chance of going under the stand and having a programme shop? in the spaces where the old tea bar was?

Is this a possible and do you want a place to sell the programmes?

Peter

Knowing the sort of person you are, the third para of your post is exactly the kind of thing I would have expected you to say.

I would just like to personally thank you for your help on a number of occasions with items I have purchased from the shop.
