I am guessing the chances of it going ahead are not great.

Sunny with a strong wind here in East Kent.  Forecast looks ok for the Welling area tomorrow - some sunshine and a drying wind.  The problem, I suspect, will be the amount of notice we have to give to Bath before they set out on their long journey.
Otherwise, I reckon the match will be on if this weather continues and improves.

Everywhere I go with the dog is like a marsh so I am hoping the pitch has survived in a better condition.

Rain is forecast tomorrow and I suspect your are right ELB - it will be the early decision that could make all the difference

If it is on - I will see you in the lounge - red rose in lapel and carrying a copy of Le Monde under my right arm.

That may be the magazine you see, but are you sure there's not the Tory News on the inside?

I've only got the basic weather predictor, which doesn't give me that information. I'm still saving up for the sea weed.

However, it's always sunny and dry in the little world that I live in.

Am going down to the coast tomorrow - and will be sure to bring you back some multicellular algae so you can give us even better weather predictions in the future!

My dear 'joe free' as someone who is kept under 24 hour care and who is not allowed to venture outside a 2 mile zone from the mental institution from where I live, I would like to thank you for your kind gesture. In return I would gladly like to give you a plastic spoon from the canteen.

Call a pitch inspection for when they are due to leave... keep them on their toes and having to prepare late and rush.

Its a great pitch and Barry has done well on it since Colin went to the Orient. Provided it doesnt hammer down it may be ok. But there have been some massive downpours in recent weeks. Not sure how much more rain that the pitch can take.

Unreal when you think that for 2 games 20 years ago between the same teams a combined 5,500 people watched the 2 games at Park View Road. over 3000 for the comeback win in the FA CUP and 2000 for the loss to bath the year earlier in the cup. I still hate Dave Singleton.

I think it's disappointing that when there is some doubt about a game going ahead after spells of bad weather such as this week, the club do not post anything on the official website as to whether they are arranging a pitch inspection and, if so, at what time.  Many other clubs routinely show this sort of information on their sites.

Well, I've just drawn the curtains and piered through the bars on the 4" thick security glass in my padded cell and the sun is trying to shine through. The road going out of the institution looks dry and there does not seem to be much wind about.
Looking good and matron has said that she feels the game should be on and will take me as long as I behave.

We needed a turning point and a momentum boost and i was directly in line with John Freeguard's challenge on Horton. I even got my red bus pass cover out and went to the front of the main stand screaming at the ref to send him off . It happened nr the Bath dug out.

The whole stand went bananas and the ref sent him off. The ref helped. But Welling pressure was immense and the comeback superb. To be fair you were awful in the first game at Twerton and it was payback for the year before when we were expected to just brush you aside. I will never forget your players lining up in a photo with one of the old Bath players i despise laying on the ground with a big grin on his face
