Kent U18's managed by former Welling United  KYL manager Ken Brooke have reached the final of the FA County Youth Cup for the 2nd consecutive year.  Having been 2-0 up they went 3-2 down and made a sensational comeback to make the score 3-3 at full time and ran out 5-3 winners after extra time.

Thery will face Sheffield and Hallamshire at home in the final.

FA County Youth Cup Final will take place at Gillingham FC on Sat 24 April 2010 ko 2pm. Unfortunately this is also the final day of the league season and we are at home to Basingstoke.

Could be a big day for non league football in Kent if we end up in the playoffs and the U!8's win.

Strange that the county youth final is at Gillingham but that the senior cup is considered to be fifth rate.

FA Competition rather than regional FA.

Final was held at Priestfield last year too.

The U18S is the English COUNTY - As the final is arranged by the (English) FA and KENT was the home drawn team. The FA requirement is normally for the final to be played on a professional teams ground {Gills being the only club)

Last year's Kents captain being Tom Parkinson (younger brother of Jack) and one Ben Greenhaulgh who played left midfield and Harry Harding of then Bromley and now Reading playing centre Midfield
