What was that all about? Barrie seemed to give the impression that Welling supporters were involved and did the same last week. This could be serious for the club.
Ok we went to Dartford and they had 10 which was stupid. But from what ive seen we need more stewards and stewards who could stop trouble at that. Not librarians.
Hopefully the club have identified the muppets who start fighting and get an injunction.

Last week it was the Bath keeper winding up people behind the goal after they scored their 2nd, no real fighting though. As for stewards lets face it we don't have any, the old boy who walks around looking as if he would rather be any where else couldn't stop trouble. Two proper blokes with mobiles to contact each other would be enough.
I obviously hope these flare ups don't continue. If the culprits are Welling fans they need to be identified and banned quickly, certainly before Dover visit when far more visiting fans will be present. In the meantime I think Barrie needs to give serious consideration to start opening the exit on the sports ground side again so that fans leaving the new stand, some of whom are elderly, do not need to go out past the road end goal where the incidents have happened. Why has this exit not been opened this season anyway? Is it for cost cutting reasons?
The supporters who were antagonized by the Bath goalkeeper were at the other end of the ground to the flare up on Saturday so the two events are not connected.
My understanding is that a couple of Havant supporters were closet Tiryaki's and decided to mix it with a couple of Welling supporters who were walking out but that is second hand so I don't know how true it is.
So it seems non of you saw what happened just after the game, Havant gave it alot of mouth by some middle aged men started on one youth walking past as he shouted out welling. They came unstuck when one havant man came down and kicked the youth and started to push the youth. He ended up on the floor , o dear.. Then another started o dear.... then they all started ... Well they all got a taste of what can happen when you pick on people. As the the Havant youth , who thought he was the haye maker started ,mouth mouth, he got put in his place also . So the dad and the son got it and then the mum , who was a big LUMP started , you cant hit a LUMP, mind you she was really giving it.
So welling calm down as we dont like people giving us, after match big one . We like to come and see you play..... but we dont waqnt trouble but if it comes to you what do you do and we are not normally like that ......
I can barely understand a word of that. Also, 5 days after the incident to come and "give it" to us.
If the "youth's" offence was shouting Welling and he got started on and pushed about then, Im sorry, but whoever did that deserves what they have coming to them.
