I am lurking at the Holiday Inn waiting for Mr name and DOB to turn up

I cant help thinking this may be a pivotable moment in the season tonight...whatever Daisy is saying

Win tonight and we are on equal points with eastleigh 3 points from the play offs with a game in hand on them and a couple of others....that being Weymouth at home next week

I am sure the team know it....but we really are a bit sterile in front of goal and also need the luck with us too although I guess you make your own luck

All keep fingers crosses and lets see what happens

They have signed a striker/right-sided midfielder from the Glenn Hoddle Academy in time to play tonight.  I wonder whether we have signed our elusive striker yet --- or not?

more like a goalkeeper:

Eastleigh have strengthened their squad by signing Billy Lumley, a 20 year old 6'5" goalkeeper. Billy was a youth player at Wolves and has played two games in 2010 for Northampton. He has also been at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain

Great win last night for the boys. Never in my ten years at Welling can i recall actually thinking even though we had wasted very good chances, and had a goal ( in my view ) that should not have been disallowed, could we still win it in what was a very big game for us.

The team was superb last night, first half we were a little bullied but we tried to play football for the most and to get the goal just before half time was a bonus. Had so many chance in the first 15 of the second half could not believe it game should have been out of sight by the 60 minute. Lots of top performances and if Parkinson keeps playing like last night then we will all be writing in a sorry your leaving card, Faz was very good and Lee Clarke was great he had a chance he created himself that if it had gone in i would have left the ground it was premiership stuff.

This is a massive chance now to reach the play offs next three games and if we get nine points in the bag BINGO! We will go into the three games with the other play off teams with a huge chance ... I am so exctied about the next few weeks and i have everyfaith in the team to do there upmost as they have been doing thus far to reach the play offs.

Great win and not a bad little away following ... Eastleigh home support was shocking!

COYW!

"Lee Clarke was great..........."

So Dizzie what condiments would you like with that massive slice of humble pie you should be eating this morning........?!

He scored one with an excellent finish, had another great strike disallowed which looked a bit dubious and, as you say, the one he put wide before his goal would have been a shoe in for goal of the season.

Great credit to the bloke who has fought back from a poor start (and poor handling by the manager) and is now an integral part of the team.

Keep it up Clarkey!!
