No official confirmation from Chelmsford or us. If this is true then I think it puts into perspective our play-off ambitions. How the hell can we let a good impact player go to potential play-off rivals? Daisy and his team have done well to turn potential relegation candidates into play-off contenders despite a budget cut or two along the way. I hope this move, if true, will release funds to bring in a good striker.

If true, and if the rumours about Finn being one of the highest earners then it will surely free up funds for a decent striker - or maybe it's the cash to buy Pugh's contract for the rest of the season?
His one month is up with Histon around the Easter weekend...
Definitely a winger not a striker Mr Foster. As has been said a decent impact player but has proved very frustrating when he has started games. No question he has ability but he doesnt always make the right decisions and has definitely shown a lack of "bottle" on more than one occasion this season
From our point of view a calculated risk to get rid of hm at this stage of the season as he can do a job late on in games against tiring defenders. However if this allows us to get a player in that Daisy really wants and can give us an end of season boost then I am all for it.
We can't argue with what the current management team has done so we should trust them on this decision
If your a contracted player - can not be signed (obviously loans possible) but we can not loan Andy Pugh any more this season as we have used our full entitlement with him
1. I am not surprised ref Finn if it is true.....not sure he has given us anything ALTHOUGH he is probably one (if no the) most skillfull player in the squad
2. Ref Pugh...no more loans....Would be OK if Gills released him BUT I see that as unlikely at this stage of the season
One of those talented players that flatters to deceive. He looked p1ssed off a couple of games ago. I wonder if Gills are willing to release Pugh and that we will pick up his contract. Other than that you have to think Jamie has Ross Montague or another striker ready to come in for tomorrow.

Ross Montague got injured whilst at AFC Wimbledon. He may be out for the rest of the season. There must be others of his type around but with loanees you never know whether you will get one like him and Andy Pugh who put in 100%, or a Charles Adameno.
Sad to see him go. A talented player who can turn a game. The only one we have now is Hurrell. Not sure what I'Anson is like.
If only we had a bigger budget and we could keep Finn as a sub. Probably too expensive to keep on our present budget.
Turn a game..well ive never seen him do anything, but bottle out of tackles, waste time taking on to many defender's, seen him jump out of tackles i/e Bath at Home, would have got a pen out of that..then it would have been 1.1, then who knows ?...Dover in the cup, bottled it to many times, makes Sambroke look like Rambo. Ive never come away from a game thinking /saying "Anthony Finn, god he was our MOTM today the way he ran the line & set up Tommy with those crosses ".. As for the left hand side we have Deaneo & Sam, & Jack Ober should be back for Easter.... Keep The Faith trust in Jamie & co
