Southern trains are doing 50% off off-peak trains services when you book online. Offer until 11th April.

I've just booked a same day return (with goldcard) for £7.20 on Sat 27th

Group bookings might be worth looking at as well, especially for people without goldcards.

Note - it doesn't offer tickets when you select London travelcards (boundary zone 6) - so just use London.

Also Daysave tickets where 4 can travel for £ 20 (return)

This is £10.50 today from London. Obviously you need a return to london too.

Everyone ordering? £15 ish travel to and from Lewes is a bargain and the trains are direct and no changing trains.

Gary, I've looked up the train on the site but I'm being quoted about £18 each way from Victoria. This ain't right is it? What times are they classing as off peak? And I live in Zone 1 so I'm only selecting London as my 'from' station.

I just tried again and it came up with £10.85 open return.

It will be cheaper if you travel with 4 or if someone had a gold card you're with.

go to their website - click on 50% offer - then 'book your half price tricket' - choose saturdays date - after 10am - choose open return - unclick 1st class and it should give you decent prices.

yes anytime at weekends, i just put 10am to be realistic for when the pubs open down there, although I've heard some are on an earlier than 10am!

£23 return reserved seat Weston
£10.85 return lewes.

I think we will have loads at both at these prices.
