Quite a good game tonight. Should have been a much better scoreline though, as we had plenty of chances. Sambrook played well and so did Bakare, although Bakare would be better served spending less time showing us what a skillfull player he is on the edge of the box and more time shooting at the goal. Good that they didn't try to make us pay extra to sit down.

Sambrook and Marsh the scorers.

The team sheet given out had most of the first team on it but although they were in the satands, the only players with first team appearances were Samborok, Bakare, Stevens.

I don't know all the names but the players that stood out for me were Bakare, our number 6 and the number 3 before he was injured.  The goalkeeper was solid too.

Margate's goalkeeper was their best player and saved them from a trashing.

Marsh should have played instead of Hobbs at Lewes and should be on the bench, hes scored 3 goals in 2 games now. We need goals and Hobbs hasnt got them in him and hes not pacey or strong or good in the air or blessed with a good first touch.

The teamsheet was about the Wings players that turned up for Tuesday night practice.  They were all sitting just in front of us and I hope they enjoyed our fluid passing tonight. Quite a good game to watch - good tackling and lots of running around, apart from the sub No.15confuse  Who was he and was what he doing on the pitch?  Played 14 balls, gave away 11 and passed 3.

Jack Obersteller has first team experience too mate.
One last thing - £10 to see reserves play?  Too expensive.

Perhaps a bit harsh on Hobbsy, but he had his chance against a poor team who had won 4 games all season and once since late december and he didnt produce anything. At least Marsh is prolific for the reserves and has scored when put in the cup games.

The lad had a chance to shine and created nothing unfortunately at lewes and never looked like being dangerous.

Whitnell and Bakare or Tuna would be my choice if we had only one striker fit and they didnt want to use Marsh, and put Daisy and Clarkey back in the middle.

I suspect the better choice and more likely is Whitnell and Clarkey uptop and that would do for me with Daisy in for L'anson.

I have to agree Cynical - £10 to watch 2 sides that you could normally watch for free or very little was a big mistake in my book.

The No 15's name was Sanga I think. Agree, he was awful. For a big bloke he certainly got knocked off the ball very easily.

Lamine Sagna, cousin (I think) of an Arsenal player.

He played for about twenty minutes away to Weymouth.
