In coversation today with Patsy she raised the point of How long is Jamie's contract for at the wings. As I don't think it will be long before someone recognises his MANAGERIAL POTENTIAL !!!!!
if anyone knows please inform us.
PS she says get to mondays game early as she may sell out of cards..!!!
You can bet your bum that Welling have him on some sort of contract having paid for his release from Dartford (I would be astonished if they paid for him and have him on non contract, that would be silly). I cant see Jamie walking out anyway. He would look a right piece of work if he did. Hes been a success and we are a benefit to him as well as him being a benefit to us at the moment.
Hes local and learning, its suits us both. Think if hes a success he will be at Welling for 2-3 years cutting his teeth.

I would like to think he will be here for the long term, but money talks and if someone does come in for him if he is on contract or not would not matter. That goes for players which players are on contract for next season because there will be clubs that can afford to pay more money than us
You are forgetting the small point that if they on contract player or manager then a fee will be needed and add in after a decent season the values will reflect this.

I cannot remember any that have been on contract. However can you honestly see Welling paying for someone wether player or manager and not then having them on contract?

True, and we would be wrong not to have Jamie on contract because Dartford had him on contract as a player otherwise we would not have had to pay a fee for him, my worry is certain clubs that will be looking at changing there manager during the close season would look at the way Jamie turned us around in so little time at some of these clubs do have money which sadly we do not seem to have and if we were offered a fee for Jamies release or any players release are we in a postion to turn them down, maybe we should look at getting sponsership in and ways of increasing crowds so we can at least offer decent money to keep these players
Daisie's done a great job but I think theback office team must take some credit. When I attended the meet the manager eve, Dean Frost certainly seem to know what he was on about.
Is Daisie on a players contract as well as a managers contract?
I think possible suitors would probably want to see how his second season with his own players goes. If he was to leave, he would take his team with him I would think.
