Some good ales on in the Turnpike at the festival. Some good Hook Norton stuff but I stuck with the Ruddles as a quaffing pint but did sneak in a pint of Speckled Hen and very palatable it was too.
Good excuse to arrive home late because there was a sale on
If you had 20 people in the same room. what's the odds on two of them sharing the same birthday?
How about this one Alan. My late mother was born on 17th February. When I moved into my flat the chap next door celebrated his birthday on 17 February. Finally this year my little grandaughter (and hopefully future Welling fan) was born on 17th February. Anyway back to Beer. I have booked a few travelodge £9 a night deals. Anyone sugest good beers in Redditch, York and Canterbury?
Pretty poo mate, My nans Funeral the day after so never celebrated anything will make up for it the weekend. Didnt want to get mullered and drop the coffin.

Sorry to hear-sometimes football and all that it brings pails into a poor second.
In answer to the question, "If you had 20 people in the same room. what's the odds on two of them sharing the same birthday?"
The answer is: - Odds on. Sounds hard to believe but do the maths and it's true.
Ventured out to Rochester, Dartford and Welling yesterday and had a few of the festival beers.
Jenning's Stickle Pike. Not bad.
Otter Mild. Very nice.
Bulldog Brown Ale. Very nice.
Maui Coconut Porter. Different, very different. I enjoyed it but a bit too sweet for my taste.
Goose Island Honker's Ale. Had this before and really liked it.
Best pint though was a pint of Young's Bitter in The Malt House. Bloody expensive though. I don't know how they survive with the Wetherspoons a short walk away. Nice pub though and the food looked good.
