He didnt walk out after one game, he was begged by Fordy to play on an afternoon he was free between leaving one club and joining another as we were in the s**t at that point and could barely get 11 men out. He knew Fordy and did it as a favour.
He did not walk out on us. Andy Ford offered him a game as a warm up but it was already agreed that he would sign for Dagenham and Redbridge. It was only ever going to be one game.
If he was to drop out of league football I guess Hessenthaler would be interested and his club would probably be favourites, especially if they win the play-offs.
I always thought he was a useful player - he was in the side with Jamie I seem to remember and that worked well. Can't see us being able to afford him but I would welcome him back
