Boreham Wood beat Kingstonians in the play-off decider but one of their lovely supporters ran onto the pitch during the match and punched captain Francis Duku in the face.
Kingstonians have put in an official complaint and the incident was included in the referees report.
Its all very well complaining now, if they had walked off the pitch at 0-0 it would have had more clout.
Boreham Wood is known for having a few herberts, didnt they throw bottles at our lot when we played them?
The fact they played the full game and lost, should see Boreham Wood take their place but receive a huge fine and a warning to sort their fans out or be sanctioned in future.

They should have walked off but the fact they didn't does not give Boreham Wood the moral high ground. They have a history and yes that does include attacking Welling supporters.
I don't think Kingstonians have a snowballs. Players of both sides are now out of contract so it cannot be replayed.
It looks like the appeal has gone to the F.A. so, based on the time it took them to calculate the Sheringham compensation, the result of it will be announced by Christmas.
I have not listened to it. Even though it was sparked off by Duku punching a Boreham Wood player (allegedly) ther can be no justification in a supporter running on to the field of play and striking a player. I guess I am clutching at straws too as it is not a place I really wanted to be going next season.
Chris he might be correct but you cannot say things like that as a club official and go on record saying it in the media.
It just smacks of desperation to me they are laying it on thick now. Its 100% wrong what happened but make your stand at the time, Ryman officials were there.
Dont try and get a second chance if you lose. THEN you have a fair chance of getting them slung out.

It astounds me that wannabe hooligans have infiltrated non-league. That's not what its about down at this level. Their supporters seem to have a bit of history but doubt they'd have the gonads to try anything were they to come face to face with bigger clubs with bad reputations.
Pretty pathetic really.

i think you've hit the nail on the head
at our level you get small crowds and no police - it's easy to intimdate people so they play up and think they are "hard-nuts" but if they ever started moving up the levels the 10 or so people in that picture would get a right kicking or do the classic "hold-me-back" when they have stewards in front of them
look at what happened to woking when they went around acting like hooligans and then when newport went to their place they gave them a load of trouble - the "woodboys" lol will find themselves getting into trouble sooner or later if they carry on like they are
