When do the pre-season fixtures start getting announced?

I would love the idea of a mini tour - Cornwall or Scotland sounds good. Can't see the club being able to afford it though.

I thought the 7th was the start of the season.

We only won 2-1 last year at VCD so not sure we will give them a thrashing.

I will be delighted if the season starts on the 14th as I am still on my hols on the 7th.

****ed my holiday dates up and go away on 7th. So when I get back expect Welling to be top of the board with 9 points and a GD of 20.

From VCD site

Foley advised that a number of pre-season games had already been arranged including two tough games to finish their preparations with Blue Square South side Welling United visiting Oakwood on 7th August followed by a trip to Ryman Premier side Canvey Island on 14th August before the season starts on 21st August.

They've also got Wealdstone playing half a dozen other teams as well so wouldn't take it as gospel.

Normally if we play lower opposition it's away. The home games are against higher league teams.

Fiddlesticks don't get back till 16th so can only be top of table with 3 points and GD 0f 7

No, away at Dover.

Surely we will get Dartford as the Xmas games. If we dont then what a pile of ****.

but whats the odds it will be

The only good part of us v Bromley is transport. Anyone without there own or shared transport would not be able to get to a Boxing Day away game as most of non occupied Kent does not have buses/trains

I feel we will get Bromley with Ebbsfleet playing Dartford as that is more local. I just hoped we don't get squeezed out with Dover in the frame. I could see (based on geography):

Ebbsfleet v Dover
Welling v Bromley
Dartford v Thurrock

I would settle for that.

We also have links with Inter Milan now, happy for an away pre-season friendly or if they want to check out our advanced training and medical facilities they could come here. I'm happy to volunteer putting up some bunting, making some parma ham rolls and taking them for a capaccino in Morrisons.
