Including Luis Cumbers and Denis Oli.

Gillingham have taken the decision to release all 14 of their out-of-contract players.

Captain Barry Fuller (pictured), experienced pros Simon Royce and Mark Bentley and youngsters such as Tom Wynter are all free to seek employment elsewhere.
Following manager Mark Stimsons departure on Monday the clubs chairman Paul Scally took on the role of dealing with those players coming to the end of their current deals.

Other players whose contracts are expiring are Garry Richards, John Nutter, Stuart Lewis, Adam Miller, Rashid Yussuff, Dennis Oli, James Walker, Luis Cumbers, Andy Pugh and Jacob Erskine.

John Nutter - great name - I do hope he is a hard hitting defender in the Ron Harris mould with 17 yellow and 3 reds to show for last season.

Wow, some names there I thought they'd want to keep. Scally's probably planning to sell a couple too. Surprised McCammon isn't on that list...

I have heard that Pugh is off to another Kent Club, Also we are going to find it hard to attract better players because we are one of the paying the least wages and I know you might say we dont want them if theyt just want to come for the money but what would you do in a players situation

Dover and Dartford will certainly pay more. I would have thought we would be on a par with Bromley and probably more than Ebbsfleet.

FFS another anti Welling post.

NO, there are a handful of clubs who can pay silly money. Remember Darford pay no rent and earn massive from the stadium. How the F is that Wellings fault.

And if someone wants to go and play for 30 quid extra in a recession, good luck to them.

Its up to Jamie to convince them to come to PVR.

If he wants to help his budget, he should be trying to get a League First team down. This could bring in a grand a week for a full house.

Excellent, but surely this is only the ones out of contract as we arent paying any fees for people.

I like all these rumours of Jamies doing this Jamies doing that. I think we wont see many come in till pre season myself.

I heard that too. They are discussing a summer get together to celebrate winning a pub league with a cheeky glass of shandy.
