Well he scored no goals in 15 games for Histon, doubtful he will go back to Shortford, they seem to be on his back. Doubtful a league team or Conf side will go for him after he drew a blank for Histon.

He may need a club and he may feel moving was wrong. He will score 20 at our level.

But then, what if he comes back and someone (again) comes sniffing round...Leave at the first sign of money first time, shame on him. Does it again, shame on us for allowing it.

Fair play to Baker, in releasing him, he cannot get a fee for him and doesnt want to be waiting around, so hes released him.

Sinclair does seem the type of player who just wants to get the max he can get every week and will play wherever that is.

I wouldnt have him back if he paid us. We need players who want to play for us and so far all of those that have signed have shown that. Also they are the main players we want to sign for us. So its looking good.

Daisy will bring in a few more quality players, i am sure he has loads in his sights.

Is there any chance of us obtaining a few players from the Millwall and Arsenal XI's that we'll be playing against during pre season?

Doubtful from Arsenal, they have told Daisy (according to Kent Today). they are sending their best Kids down to PVR, those who are pushing for the first team. Also that some of those players at Welling will be playing in the Emirates Cup. It also says Wenger will be there.

I think we have more chance of Season long loans from Gillingham, Charlton and Millwall but we would have to take them for a month with a view to a season long loan before committing incase they arent good enough.

I would have thought the club would have looked at work experience youngsters rather than season long loans.

The positives are that Welling don't pay work experience youngsters but the negative side is that the parent club has first call on them for reserve matches or any other reason they may want them not to play. I would have thought that Charlton and Welling will continue to link up in this way.

Loanees can be expensive.

Wings63 is right about Millwall. There is a link up with Dartford so sure they will have all the dibs on their youngsters

I meant in a non loan way lol like we get someone for the season on experience, so a cross between a loan and an experience loan. Obviously we need the lending club to play ball. We obviously dont want players that are out of their depth.
Charlton and Finland having Jenkinson every 2 seconds was no good to us, from what i saw he wasnt good anyway. Maybe the fact he was moving between us and Charlton and Finland didnt help him.
