Tragic news on the official site that former player Stuart White has been killed in a car crash in South Africa.
A true Welling great.
Thoughts are with his family at this sad time

Good grief

Sick News and condolences to all of Whitey's friends and family.

Will never forget that goal at Enfield. Length of the pitch and smashed it home and he ran into the Welling Fans at the hoarding for a group hug.

R.I.P Stuart White, thanks for the memories.

Tragic news. Whitey was a great servant for Welling. A tireless runner who kept going for the whole 90 minutes up and down the flank. A true Wings legend.

He was a huge favourite of mine and that goal at Enfield will always be one of my fondest Welling memories. I hope there will be a minutes silence at our first game next season.
