Danson Festival, has previously had Pop Idol finalists, Girlbands, Alexander Oneal, Members of steps etc... and had reasonable music.
Now whilst they AGAIN have the awesome Jocelyn Brown this year, it the lets be politically correct or embrace the community show ... let johnny play in the band stuff.
You have a festival usually in great weather with thousands of people there, if they did a little more research into booking the artists they might attract more people.
Jocelyn Brown was good last year and so were the allstars (who are basically nobodies but fair musicians) but this shows a distint lack of creativity, she will only sing 2 or 3 songs anyway.
Disappointing from Bexley Council but when do they do anything other than disappoint us?
The plumstead Make Merry used to be good years ago with stars there. What has happened to these festivals the entertainment stages are now full of shyte.

My Band Have Had knock backs from Danson on Numerous occasions to the point where we actually set up a gig tent to promote a local studio. Its As if they aren't intrested in local entertainment.
