I think both Boxing Day and New Years Day gates could approach 3000 if weather is OK and both teams are doing well.

If people are putting them up will do them 4 at a time.

Will get the first 4 games done in the next week or so.

As Charlton miss a lot of our games i would love to see us offer Charlton Season ticket holders a discount season ticket. Need to do these properly with a passport style photo on and laminate them so they cant give them to their mates.

They might drag a few mates along or their kids (Future Welling Fans?). Knock off £25 quid or something. Or let them get in at League Games for £2 off if they show their season ticket for their League Team.

Would be good if we could sort something before the 3 friendlies and get a full page in the Programme with the offer.

* If Gravesend and D*rtford have done the same as us and asked to avoid clashing with Charlton.. WE NEED to get the floating Chartlton fans tied down to supporting us.

Big Chance for us if we use our noddle.

AT LAST!!!!!!!

A proper derbyover xmas. Forget Bromley (no rivalry), forget Fisher (nothing), forget Thurrock (who?), forget trips 60 miles to Dover, forget Trainstation FC.

We have got the real deal.

When was our last league game with Da*tford? over 25 years?

You can get a bus from Welling to Dartford so if you could have made it to the home game then away shouldn't be a problem apart from the time.

I use to work right next to Boreham Woods ground - naughty place but the hooligans only use to turn up for FA Cup/big trophy games.

Maybe a few will come out for the new season?

From what i heard quite a few are 'fans' of Arsenal, Spurs, Luton etc, some who have been banned?

The ground is surrounded by estates.

JGFC put on an earlier comment...

"As Charlton miss a lot of our games i would love to see us offer Charlton Season ticket holders a discount season ticket. Need to do these properly with a passport style photo on and laminate them so they cant give them to their mates. "

Although I can understand the reason for this is bums on seats which leads to club finances. Why should they get a discount.?  Its Not their club, when we play them pre season all they do is take the pish out of the club.

When the fixtures came out for the wings I was quick to check with My Club Fulham's fixtures and as there is only 2 games on same day so I bought my WINGS season ticket no need for a discount.

I agree with JGFC in bums on seats but not by letting in non wings for cheaper, I am happy to help promote games and have done so with Patsy in advertising the PSF games in shops cafes and on line and will do so During the season.

You wouldnt get their money otherwise and if Dartford or Gravesend do an offer they may go there.

These arent Welling fans they are League fans. You need to offer some kind of deal to attract them. And you need to get in first. If 120 (not a huge figure) turn up at another local club for when Charlton are away thats 2 players for the squad and a monkey in the clubs pocket.

As i said they would need to show their season ticket for Charlton (to get in cheaper) and have ID plus make the season ticket deal photo ID so they cant give it away.

Id much rather have 20 50 100 or more extra NEW fans attend even if they did get a couple of quid off. Its more support and more money for the club they wouldnt have had.

Whats everybody elses idea on this?

I THINK the club can do one off discounts, So how about for ONE GAME. Anyone with a league season ticket gets in for £5 and bring in kids for £1.

This may attract them for the rest of the games when they pay full price.

Obviously pick a decent game very early in the season.

I think this one game idea would certainly be worth a try.  When we play Lewes on August Bank Holiday Monday, there are no Football League or Premier League games.  If the club was willing to give it a go, it could be advertised on leaflets at the Charlton, Millwall and Arsenal friendlies and could pull in quite a bit of extra revenue for the club and, who knows, perhaps a few long term supporters if they enjoy the game.

Sounds a plan. Get another few hundred in and hopefully they enjoy it and come back when their own team are away. Your point about getting in any deal in the programme is the key.

And if Charlton or the other teams give it a mention on their sites or programme even better.

Leaflets would just end up on the floor, in the programme and over the tannoy a couple of times will get the message across.

One Idea that happens at fulham is when there's a game coming up and knowing that its not going to get many in they do a scheme where a season ticket holder can get 2 people in for a fiver each But its on designated league games decided by the club. And Like fulham its done twice a season one before and one after christmas.

Therefore for example

Saturday 23 October  2010 BISHOPS STORTFORD Home
Saturday 26 February 2011 WESTON-SUPER-MARE Home

JGFC said "I THINK the club can do one off discounts"

JGFC, BH confimed to me last week when I bought my ST  that the club can charge whatever they like.

I suggested a few ideas to him about the commercial side etc.

You and others make some great points on here but BH does n't come on here and piggy either does n't read it or takes no notice.

Getting Charlton supporters in is the key. Over the season there are only two fixture clashes with them as opposed to 11 with Millwall. The problem as you say is that Dirtford and Curryhouse FC will have similar fixture schedules and may do an offer.

Going to be a struggle to get CA fans to pay £11 to watch their second club.

Just been on the offical site and the prices quoted are for the 09/10 season!

The only way to chage the norm is to have a chat face to face with BH who to be fair will listen and take on board what you say.

Doesn't take much!

In my case I have to break out of my padded cell when the nurses and security are playing cards in the kitchen. Using one of my hair clips I pick the lock to my room and with my face blackened with shoe polish I carefully have to make my way down the corridor to the window at the end. I open up the fan-light window and push myself through, once on the outside I hang on the ledge using just my fingertips and gradually move along the outside wall of the institution about 100 foot high towards the library.
Once there I reach up to the vent and push myself through it. Once inside I have to feel myself around the tables to the locked glass cabinet where the computers are kept. With my sharpened index finger I scribe a circle around the lock and punch it through. Now with only one hand that can reach through the hole I then have to get the computer switched on and connect to the internet.
With the job now done of reading the posts on the forum I then have to make the dangerous journey back.

So my dear JgFc, when you say it doesn't take much. You're probably quite right.

Stop feeling yourself around the tables!!!

Mind you if you've gone through that, you probably deserve a good rummage.
