Wings team was made up fully of trialists only Clarkey and Crackers got a run out in 2nd half. The only players for me too impress where Marsden and Rice. Don't think Daisy will take much from the game, pitch was **** and the area crap.

What could Jamie possibly learn with a line up consisting entirely of trialists? They aren't exactly going to be able to play well with each other are they. I doubt we'll see most of those trialists again.
Totally agree, hes just had a look the trialists and given those who have signed a rest (seems perfectly reasonable to me).
Pity the people who went to see it , maybe Jamie should have said no signed players other than Crackers and Clarkey would be playing, maybe he saw the pitch and then decided the team.
Roll on Millwall lets hope we get news of a few first teamers coming down so we can push it and get a few more on the gate.

No I dont blame Jamie one bit he is doing his job properly by looking at every player and to be fair looking at that pitch tonight im glad no player (from both sides) got injured. I knew tonights team was going to be trialist based in advance but what with it being a new ground to visit and a chance to cast the eye over one or two potential wings players I wnated to go but unfortuntley the game was so DULL! Like to see Marsden and Rice signed up though. Roll on Tuesday.

Millwall left out 5/6 first team squad players at AFC Wombles tonight by the looks of match reports. So hopefully that means some of them will be getting a run out at PVR!
18 players so less than the 20 Daisy wanted. Plus we have the reserves and academy to pull players from but get them training with the first team sometimes to bond with them.
Thats that sorted, roll on the season. Have probably missed out one or two players but that looks a pretty good squad and line up to me. Dont worry about only having 2 wingers in squad, Lawson can play on wing (and we have 4 or 5 strikers in the squad) and Dadson and Loui can play either flank.

Is there any chance at all of players from Millwall and Arsenal that play against us next week, joining us for some sort of loan period? There probably isn't, but maybe Jamie could persuade one or two to stay for a month or so. If i was Jamie I'd ask about player availability, just on the off chance that some players might interested.

I think Cumbers will start season alongside Pugh. Lawson a contender for wing perhaps? Squad wise Sambrook did well as a back up centre half last season.
jgfc i dont think there is a reserve team this season. I am not sure femi will get nod over sambrook who i said should be kept as a squad player. Achempong is a good player i would like to see him stay I am glad lawson came back hope he stays but i cant see him as a winger. We will need another winger to challenge fazza/dadson.
Its up to the other strikers to score in pre season then to earn a place in the squad. Players like Lawson who can play wide aswell as up top are gold dust. He could make the squad artificially bigger.
I heard we have thought about switching the ressies to a different club from last season but wont say anything until the club announce whats happening. I dont know for definite if anything has changed.
Who was the kid who played 7 at Herne Bay and 15 v Charlton? He would be the challenger in wide positions to Dadson and Faz.

Dean Mason released so we only have 1 wide player signed up and possible wide cover and probably 2nd best striker of pre season is talking to Hornchurch.
What happens if we dont sign Dadson, we would have one widey signed or available to us.
