Hayes failed at ryman 2 level and lasted about 7 games before "let go" and he wasnt first choice for the Dover job and only got it as Hendon went to Gillingham.
Dover have apart from last season been playing league and leagues below this level for YEARS.
Now bearing in mind these two factual things... This comment on the official Douvres site, did smack of BBB

Would have nothing to do with one of the biggest budgets in the league, obviously and the fact that they tapped him up and offered more than he accepted at Welling then went back on.

Sam Cutler has left a club where he would not have been first choice to sign for one where he has a better chance of starting. That shows keeness to play football which could constitute ambition.

Cutler left for more money, so **** him! We want players here that want to stay for football reasons, not how much they're being paid. He wasn't all that good anyway.
Yeah fair enough CJ, dont think its a dig as in a dig. Just couldnt believe the dig at us by Hayes who is a complete failure as a manager at lower level than this.
