Following on from the point i think you made about asking Charlton, Millwall or the Arse about a loan player or two this season.
How about asking to get the number 15 yesterday, i thought he was superb a real box of tricks, only little but skillful and like a whippet.
Jernade Meade is the name, if he doesnt make it in the League due to his size, and it is a hinderance, he will destroy teams in the Conference.
I wonder whether Chippy Brady would let him come to us on a season loan. I would imagine they would be happy to send a loan player to us, given the superb pitch and the way we played yesterday?

On one of the Gunners sites it says players said after .... i didnt even want to be here today, and they also say that Brady went mental at a few of their players after.
It's just their way of making excuses. If they had won against us, they would have said how glad they were to be part of a victory. The players in the Arsenal side that aren't on a lot of money (most of them) seemed glad to be playing against Welling. It's just those spoilt few having a tantrum afterwards. This is yet another reason why I'm on the whole more interested in non league football these days than in professional football. There is still a pro club i like more than Welling, but the gap has closed a lot in the last few years.
I agree with you JGFC. The number 15 was quality. I'd see him more in a midfield role rather than fullback though.
I have seen smaller players at PVR. I remember seeing Jose Dominguez play for a Spurs XI. I think he has the record as being the smallest player ever in the Premier League. He was quality too.
The problem with them is that 3 or 4 of them were MUCH closer to the First Team than they are now so I guess that they have had a taste of the big time and now have gone backwards
I think that a Pre Season tour with the first team is very different to a run out at PVR
Just BBB
That is why I totally prefer Non League even though the BBB attitude is seeping in here too
