Will Jamie put Parky back alongside Andrews and put Sammy in Midfield today as we are up against strikers in form? I also see that Jerome Sobers is suspended today for Bromley.

I wonder if Crackers and Loick are close to coming back. We cant rush them and have to give them extra time but i have a feeling Faz wont play today so we could be shuffling the pack a bit.

I am sure they are good enough to get a result whoever comes in. Jordan played well against Chelmo so if Faz is out today then Healy could go wide right and Jordan can come in on the left.

I'd like to see Coylie get in Finns face early today.

Will try and get line ups and update at HT etc today depending on reception.

Has the number of Welling fans at the game exceeded 100? I can see us winning this game, although it should be a tough match. Hopefully Loik will come on at some point today.

We'll miss Faz today. Looks like we'll have nearly a full squad back in a week or two, though - good news.

we playing hoof ball. Couple of half chances for us and mcbean created space and shot over for them. I wish we would pass it. Today its head down and hoof it. Pitch is long so that may be why. Parky booked for us and finn booked for them for not retreating.

2-1. Probably too late for a fightback.

got what we deserved. But a great save from a femi goal bound effort denied us a point. Pitch was bad but can still play to feet. Flat performance . Up to them to win against lewes. Highlights late tonight

Cant really blame the pitch, plus JGFC you said the pitch was fine in your first post.

Bit hoof and hope today, but were not going to go unbeaten for the whole season.

One of those days, both goals came from our own attacks. I think that the injuries caught up with us today and we looked a bit jaded at times. Bromley wont win the league but will be up there, lets bounce back Monday boys

We turned out a different team in the second half and lost too many second balls and created little such that the keeper wasnt really tested apart from once or twice.

Felt as though we lost the ball in the middle but certainly no love lost between Finn and Daisy!

Still would have taken to be where we are after five games, although the injury list with Jack hobbling off today is a little worrying.

pitch was fine as in dry bearing in mind a game got abandoned recently. The grass was long maybe thats why daisy chose that we hoofed it. Just a flat performance. All teams have them. We owe them support after a flat showing for the way they stood by us. Having said we were poor how their keeper kept out femi in injury time i dont know. Players looked a bit tired.

Just watched the goals back, Jordan gave ball away in their half , they hoofed it over the top , mcbean left two defenders for dead , charlie stayed in his goal wazza lobbed it home. Second one Jordan gave ball away in box , they passed square to a wide open mcbean who had open goal. Billings header from 6 yards for us in injury time. Then in deep injury time header from femi pawwed away by their keeper well.

Jordan good enough but looked overawed and indecisive needs a bit of encouragement and to have some belief when he gets the ball. Hes young and will make errors but will be ok.

Heads up boys, we played poor but were inches from getting a draw at a team who had won all their games and are top of the table. Lets see a bit more geeing up from Coylie and Parky.

Speaking to an old chap from Bromley before game who said after match abandoned the other night pitch was drained within half hour. Also said grass was cut earlier and had to put sprinkers on.

Can't add a lot about today's game except to say that in the 10 minutes or so he was on the pitch, Ben Billings made several good crosses as well as scoring his goal.  Perhaps he's earned a longer involvement against Lewes.

Highlights should be up by 12.30 . Bromley were superb hosts. Thanks to Tim and Jeff. Very friendly and organised club on a match day.

The midfield looked very tired, after reviewing the video you can see how they do not chase down for the first and second goal. Our only opportunities to score seemed to happen after the 3 substitutions were made, hence the tired legs

Poor second half performance and the lack of numbers certainly caught up with us on Saturday.

Once we can get everyone fit Daisy will have much better options. Three quarters of our midfield would who started the game would probably have been different if everyone had been available and we lacked pace and guile in wide areas to open them up.

Agreed that Billings looked quite useful during his short cameo.

We played NFL against Bromley. First Down and 10 2nd down and 5 and then went for too many hail mairys to the end zone. Nothing wrong with going long but weve proved we can zip it around and then put the front men in with shorter balls where they can use their pace. Donking it over the center halfs all game or putting it in corners isnt going to pay off against many teams. I completyely understand that we had Loui and Loick out so hard to get it wide and into Pughie and Q but... we didnt even try with Jordan and Juan Joe Healy out wide.

When we pass it , it wont come off all the time but we control games and create chances. Mix it up a bit fine, but long long long is not pretty to watch and ggot us nothing at Bromley.

I feel the reason we knocked it long at Bromley was due to the fact that most of the team were feeling tired, and the long ball is a option in these cases, to preserve your energy.

Secondly, IMHO the grass was left rather long and was not really suitable for the short ball passing game.

I think you are right Eric, we are spoiled by having a carpet for a pitch at PVR.
