Not sure how much of a money spinner this will be. Could have been worse I guess, but would have preferred Dartford away for the dosh (as long as we beat them)

wont be much - a 500 or so crowd probably so we pick up about £2500 or so from gate receipts and then will make £4500 when we win
Did strudwick do the draw for the FA?? It lifts all the pressure off the players shoulders there will be no expectation. relax and have a go at them we are in equally good form as the table shows. Its a very hard game for both teams so lets just go for it.

Braintree refuse any away teams filming there, straight from their chairman. Will check what the fa cup rules say. Only had Braintree and Farnborough refuse so far.

Shame - but it means if you want to see the goals you got to be there. At least you will have the knowledge that Welling will get a cut of Braintree's rip off prices. I seem to recall £12.00 to get in and a couple of quid extra to sit down.
To be Fair to Lee Harding he bans every team from filming there in the league. Farnborough have just made up some rule that doesnt exist. You are correct at least all Welling Fans know that half their money at the gate goes to us.

Just a quick note to update. Since 2007 we at Braintree have had a policy of restricting those who record within our stadium to those authorised by us, as stated in our ground regulations.
Previously we've been disappointed by visiting clubs recording at our ground and then using that recording as evidence against us!
However, we do allow visiting clubs to purchase the right to use the recordings we make. We usually have three cameras for each home game. Two in our gantry for close and panoramic views and a further camera pitch side.
I am mindful of your battle with the winding up order and if providing you with a copy of our recording on Saturday week would assist some form of fund-raising for you, I would happily waive any fee.
Let me know if this helps.
Obviously I'll be hoping my team beats your team a week on Saturday, but my best wishes thereafter. You have friends at Cressing Road.

How sad am I - just found out that Alvechurch reached the 1st round of the FA Cup in 1971-72 after five replays in their 4th round qualifying tie with Oxford City. The tie lasted eleven hours making it longest in the history of the FA Cup. The scores were 2-2, 1-1, 1-1, 0-0, 0-0 and 1-0 to Alvechurch. This tie was included in the Guinness Book of Records - now never to be beaten after the advent of penalty shoot-outs at the end of the first replay.
Wasnt it split 3 ways or 40 40 and 20? Whatever it was, bring them back and let the clubs keep 40% . Its part of the magic of the cup. As for the extra games. Sky have loads of channels and could still show what they wanted.

50% of gate monies AFTER MATCH EXPENSES (more like 30-35% nett)

Lee. The above seems to be inferring that you value the absence of "unfriendly" video recording of games chez vous because of the freedom that situation might provide for your players to "get away with things" not spotted by the officials....
Had you known in advance that "evidence against you" would be provided by opposition footage you probably wouldn't have permitted it to take place thus enabling the "evidence of Braintree wrong-doing" to be suppressed....
Can confirm we at Braintree will be organising a half-time blanket collection around the ground to help with your fund-raising when we meet a week on Saturday.
The blanket collection is a terrific gesture by Braintree which is being well advertised on their website.
I am sure all Welling fans will join me in wishing them every success in obtaining the site for the new ground which they are currently negotiating with their Council.
An amazing gesture Lee, as said before a huge thanks from everyone at Welling.
Even I have to say that the production quality of the Braintree Town videos filmed by Stage Door Digital is stunning. Multi-angles, close ups, etc is equal to something you'd see on Match of the Day.
