Is there a meeting after the Woking game? I never knew, if there is then it needs some structure it cant be a 5 min update from Barrie and 2 hours trying to get names on list to deliver flyers sometime in the future.

30k paid. balance 63k 8k Solidarity payment from conference to HMRC. Balance 55k 9k paid to bring PAYE up to date Balance still 55k
IF you were at the meetings you would be aware the club were having meetings with sponsors, investors and the club have commercial department going after more.
The club for what ever reason havent put up a donation method on the official site that was called for at the very first meeting.

THANKS FOR THAT. I THINK IT NEEDS TO BE REMEMBERED THAT NOT EVERYONE CAN MAKE THE MEETINGS AND THEY SHOULDNT NEED TO, THE INFO SHOULD BE PUT ON HERE (ASSUMING ITS A PUBLIC MEETING OF COURSE).
Old Man Billings has a point, though. Not everyone can make the meetings ( I haven't been able to, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in trying to help all I can). A totaliser is a good idea. We know we have the £8k solidarity payment and a similar amount from Russ's sponsorship grid, but as for what else the club has raised....no idea.
I do agree Moo, but OMB has cast aspertions in other threads saying what are the club hiding etc.
I dont think they are hiding anything, i think they just havent raised any extra money. Remember they have been losing over 1k a week for 2 years. So with the budget at the same level how can they chip away at the debt?
We need investment, sponsorships and friendlies
Any lowering of the total will be 100 here and 200 there so a totaliser at this stage isnt going to be moving or will be a reminder it isnt coming down.
As i posted the other day spurs sent a team with many known players including Keane and Pavluchenco to Fulham the day after a champions league game. away in Germany, these squads have 25 players and often no reserves or use youth in the ressies. We can have a real go at attracting 1 or 2 of the big teams down in the next 10 weeks.
We simply MUST arrange a couple of these friendlies and stop sitting on our arse expecting money to be thrown at us. OR we need to nail investment or sponsorship. Hey... Why cant we get the friendlies sorted then if we get investment or sponsors even better.
Have the 2 commercial managers come up with a campaign and hit every business in Welling? then Bexleyheath and Sidcup?
The action plans are there but we seem to be in limbo.
Points, If 2 Commercial Managers are paid (On Commission) then they should be getting out there doing the legwork 2 The fans cant ring up Harry Redknapp or Mark Hughes and co asking for a strong team for a benefit game and to advertise it amongst their fans too.

Could be wrong but I thought it was said at meeting after Boreham Wood Game that another update would be after the Woking game. If I am wrong I apologise now.
