The club have NOT received the 8k solidarity money yet but it is on its way to leathes prior and will then go to HMRC, The current amount at final whistle today owed is £67,000 to HMRC.

The club are looking into Benefit Match / Friendlies next week for the 10 weeks we have left but are mindful that Jamie will not really want his players playing extra games so planning will need to be made if and when we arrange a game if we have to. Friendlies are an option and it is on their mind if its possible then we will have one/some.

Obviously things depend on FA Cup and if we are still in it/earn money from it or have free dates.

Investors are still in discussion with the club and accountants are still looking over the figures and its still very much on that investors could come in.

Sponsorship not so hopeful on that score at the moment. 2 Commercial Managers have been active in recent days but it is not known what they have done yet or how successful that is.

The club are hoping to make a payment ASAP but with figures flying all over the shop and some pledges still not received yet they are unsure of how much that will be and when. I think they are liasing with Russ and also WSU to see what fund raising has brought in in the way of money paid rather than pledges.

So if anyone has any people they may know that would be interested in Sponsoring or Investing then give them the clubs details.

What can we do in the mean time? Get plenty to Braintree to support the lads on to a good result knowing that a percentage of the gate receipts goes to the club.
