According to Kentonline, Ben Billings has gone to Aveley on loan.  Also interesting comments from Jamie about the budget "cut".

I have spoken to Charlie today and he is really gutted about having to leave the club. He is local to Welling and would loved to haved stayed and help us push for promotion. 

Charlie would like to thank all the Welling United fans who supported him throughout his stay at the club and sends his best wishes to you all.

Thanks once again Charlie, you will be missed.

PS - Thanks of course to Ben and Dean too.

Not sure it matters how you dress it up. You can pay the same amount out until the end of November and it'll not be a problem afterwards (R.I.P.) or you can pay less, hopefully for longer. It is unfortunate there are casualties but the other 16 could be in the same boat otherwise come December.

Owing 55k by December 1st and about the same on a non-time limited debt and we haven't made a profit in the last 2 years on roughly the same gates and commercial income.

I think the answer is probably yes and then some unless you know differently!

I see Pidgeley has been released by Woking .... hmm, surely not!  He must be on a shedload more than Charlie.  I wonder who this goalkeeper with lots of Football League experience is?

Theres one born every minute if you think Barras could play, I asked him a few weeks ago if he would come out of retirement , he said no problems but you will have to ****ing wheel me out there. haha

Pidgeley still believes he is a full time footballer so would want a full time players salary. There is no danger that he will be coming to play for Welling!!
