I think the big bird was a vulture. He was circling around when Jamie was injured. __________________

I'm no expert but the picture of the bird looks like a juvenile Red Kite. Very rare. It's the tail that confused me. None of the common birds of prey have a forked tail. Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, Merlin, Buzzard, Harrier etc. The only one I could find on the RSPB site was the Red Kite. Absolutely beautiful. __________________
