He controlled, swivelled and shot. He is capable of some very special things and is showing more consistency and deserves a lot of praise. Especially given that he stuck around when he couldnt play.
Enjoy the plaudits Loick and keep up the good play.

Pires goal was a beauty. He is a real class act and he is getting better game by game his last two goals have been superb. What Pires is best at though is his hold up play and that is a real asset for us. Also Cumbers is playing very well and took his goal well. As an attacking force we are brilliant at the moment. Lets hope we can get new owners in soon as this team has so much potential and with the help of new ownership that could drive us on to big things this season.
We are creating goals and working hard, if you look you will see both Pires and Clarke in the build up to their goals and then making great runs to finish the move off.
Really good play and good coaching.

Hmmm well I think if you log into Vimeo and view the video via their site, there is an option to download the original file (now MP4 format, better for motion). Other than that not too sure.
Much better to have too many than too little, unlike the Neil Smith season, where a flukey Richard Carpenter free-kick was about it!
Match Photos now on the site too.

Do you still think it was a clear penalty on Pires? I've watched it several times and paused it at the point of contact and I'm not sure the Stortford's players leg moved ie I think Pires went over his leg whilst they were both running and that there wasn't a foul. I can certainly see why it wasn't given as the ref didn't have the advanatge of being able to pause the game.
Just an added note, you can watch all the highlights on your iPhones, latest iPods, iPads, many Android mobiles and other such modern smart phones.
So take Welling with you wherever you go :)
OMG now I am being totally confused, I have had a Blackberry for 6 months and have only just found out how to use the camera. Any chance of highlights on super 8? lol as young people say.
I already watch the games on my phone! I was on a beano in Berlin when we played Woking and took great delight in showing the goals to one of my mates who is a Woking fan! That was a great weekend!
Thanks James for the excellent video highlights on Saturdays game.
I missed this game as I am on holiday in Spain, but it was a pleasure to show my friends your video highlights and they were very impressed to see a non league club produce such a professional report on the game.
You are becoming a star out here. Well done James.
Thanks for all the comments guys, really appreciated.
The standard of Non-League websites has improved so much that many of them are better than those of Football League sites. Those football league club websites that all look the same i.e. clubs that use FL Interactive/Premium TV, are in my view are very un-user friendly.
Wow Eric, Spain you say? Welling United have gone international!
