with a bit of luck we will try on saturday and also pass it at the start instead of hoofing it into spaces and having no one bothered to run for it. Ebbsfleet tore us to bits but we invited them to do it. Might stick the goals up after 1 then highlights of ebbsfleet trying will be up tomorrow early evening. Daisy played ok recond half. Saturdays team starts next game please.

we were trying second half but they deserve no credit for that after being a disgrace first half. They get the chance to earn forgiveness on saturday. We dont mind losing or having a poor game but swanning about and being last to every ball is not acceptable. Well done liam ang good luck for the season except for at least the return.

ps im not saying get rid of coylie just give him a bit of protection and faz has got the legs to get up and down. If we play q then we need to sign a cross between mark lewis francis and and usain bolt to play right back.

In a word, terrible. Can't remember their keeper having a shot to save. Only reason I can see for Healy not starting is that he was ill, as he was probably our best player on Saturday. Havant's a big match now after tonight
By the sound of it a poor day at the office. The boys ave been fantastic so far lets not jump on there back still plenty of games to go and they can do it .
Outclassed in every department tonight - keeper only one who came out with any credit for me - could have been worse than 4 if he hadn't made some good saves.
I would like to know why Healy didn't start after being involved in a lot of good things on Saturday as well as scoring twice.
Definite penaly for me in the first couple of minutes, but I don't think that would have made much difference over 90 minutes. Way we were playing we would have missed it anyway.
It was the lack of effort and challenging for the ball that peed me off tonight.
Hopefully a great game and the weather stays away... Will get the teams up and will update at half time if i get a connection and remember...
Also.... If anyone can bring me a tomato soup and 2 cheeseburgers ,some chips, jam doughnuts, crisps, wagon wheel, orangina, coffee (2 sugars) and a kebab at half time much appreciated...
If I remember rightly, from the last time I went to Gravesend's ground. The burgers were about the worst I've ever tasted. The chicken burger was similar to wallpaper paste. Better off getting one from the Scottish restaurant on the way.
Strangly one of the highlights tonight was the beef and onion pie I had at the start of the game.
We have more balance with Joe on the left, Play Loick upfront and then we hold on to the ball on the left and dont see faz too far up front on the right.
Jamie changed the team and shape tonight and we never got going. But as has been said no desire, no passion, no effort. Doesnt matter what 11 start if they cant be bothered.
Ebsfleet not the best team weve played this year but destroyed us and our defence caved in time and time again as we just gave the ball away and invited ebbsfleet on to us.
Liam will have got his team up to beat his old club, we made it easy for them.
As said Daisy tried to get us passing second half but why oh why didnt we start passing from the off?
They will show us if this hurt by the performance on Saturday.

I need to express more clearly, Jamie Coyle is a very good right back and also a great center half, but we are exposing him and teams are doubling up and battering us down their left, Its the weakness they are trying to exploit as we have an attacking formation. Basingstoke did it and so have Ebbsfleet. I would think after tonight we will change our shape slightly and make sure teams cant flood their left. If we give the ball away as abjectly as we did tonight they whip it down the left and its like Zulu.
We are a bit Naive and need to protect Coylie or make teams find another way or play Coylie in the middle and put Andrews right back or even play 3 center halves which could be a decent formation with our players.

I thought Stewart looked really shakey again however Prky and Andrews were not at there usual best. Andrews went off at ht I reckon he was carrying an injury. Live and learn from this performance.
Bloody abject. First half was like Hednesford in the Trophy but at least I didn't have a 3 hour drive home to mull it overafter that! The second half wasn't...
Hopefully that has got all the comedy goals out of the way in one go. Improvement in application and quality needed for the weekend as second to everything and too many displayed the control of a block of concrete last night.
And the right footwear would help. A lot easier to play if you aren't spending a quarter of the game on your butt!
Fair play to Jamie Day, said it as it was last night, Never made excuses and he has apologised to the supporters for that performance. Its on kentishfootball.co.uk
At least he never swept it under the carpet and has held his hands up and told it how it was and had the grace to say sorry.
I wonder if Andrew was subbed as he was booked in the first minute.
I thought at one point last night that we would have somebody sent off. Players were very frustrated and felt the ref was not on their side. Finishing with 11 players was probably the only good thing to come out of the game
Even though we took an absoulte dicking last night, our game last night was far better than the dross I have just wathc between the two Manc clubs, oh my gosh what a boring boring game.
On the replay looks a stonewall pen on Pughie and we were at least competing for the first 10 mins and creating pressure and having our share of the ball, so who knows if we would have clicked into gear. I cant see how the ref or the assistant havent given it.
We seemed to go downhill bigtime from then on.

Spot on Chelwing. The ref appeared to be a Homer, but we were lucky not to have some players sent off. Daisy should know better - he is petulant to a point where it will go against him. We were there for the first ten minutes, had some good chances, then, for some reason decided to allow Ebbsfleet to take control of the game. After that, we lost it. We played some good football, along the ground and caused some problems, but that was shortlived. Andy Pugh ran his socks off last night, as did Faz ( why was he taken off at half time ? ) We just weren't there and hopefully, will come back stronger on Saturday.

Good be that he was injured. It was a pretty nasty late tackle on him right in front of the linesman after the cross that led to the handball not given also right in front of the hapless official. It was a tackle similar to the one I have just seen from Fabregas on Match of the Day.
I am afraid I do not share your enthusiasm for Faz - injured or not, I was not surprised he was taken off at half time. Virtually every time he got the ball the opposition came away with it - misplaced passes or ran into a defender. I would have Healy and Cumbers on every time instead of Faz. I know they were all guilty of giving the ball away, but for me, he was the worst. He was also not getting back and leaving us exposed down the flank as mentioned in previous posts.

Faz is a good footballer and still worthy of a place in the starting lineup, however where as Healy, Pugh, Clarke, Sambrook and others have progressed and become better under Jamies management, Faz hasn't. He goes through periods of playing really well, then seems to lose his enthusiasm. Jamie has to try and get him to improve and perform as well as i believe he can do on a regular basis, or Faz needs to leave the club at the end of the season.
Interesting point Dogme. Who do you think should make way to let Faz start? Personally I think our best balance has been Pugh and Pires up front with Cumbers and Healy down the flanks. Pires is better up front than out wide - because let's face it - he doesn't get back. I heard Parky shouting at him to get back and help on Tuesday - all to no avail. Good player going forward though.
I thought we got our tatics all wrong on Tuesday by changing the personnel from the Saturday game. We all learn.
