TBH I was suprised we resigned Faz after last season but to me he is now becoming more of an impact player coming off the bench with the line up as Chelwing has outlined.
Whether we can afford that luxury I dont know but I dont think he is guaranteed first team football at the moment unlike he was last season
Faz has been ok this season and he is a decent player. To single him out when probably only the Keeper, Pugh (First Half), Cumbers (Second Half) and Daisy (Second Half) were anywhere near playing to their ability (and some were absolutely diabolical) is harsh.

Tom-I'm not singling Faz out and I wasn't there on Tuesday so I cant comment on his or anyones performance.
Simply we have two wing back positions, and assuming we cant play three people in there my choice would be Cumbers and One Joe Healy. That assumption is based on what I have seen this season. Its early days still and the team are doing great and views change.
Faz is good on his day and as you say and this is place for opinions, mines is above and others may differ. Would I prefer Faz in the squad?-simply yes
Three into two dont go, just hope we can hold onto three decent players who on their day do a very good job
We only play (a variation of) wingback on the right dont we? Stella gets forward and Joe or Loick dont have to come back.
If we played 3 center halfs and 2 wingbacks (Stella and Faz), we could play all 3 and be fluid and go 5-3-2 if we had to. Id like to see us try 3-5-2 in the county cups.

Many people have said play three at the back for while. Think we tried it season before last for a little while. Would be good to try it again against different opposition.

Yes i agree, against Tonbridge would be a good time to try it.
If we are still going well in the league I think the county cup games won't include too many first teamers given the need to protect them due to the embargo. Not sure how much an experiment will tell us if we are playing people who won't feature in the first team
It will tell you if the players can adapt or are suited to that system and are comfortable with it.
People will say if its not broke dont fix it and i can see that we may not have to or want to change the system its worked 95% of the time so is successful and we will see if Tuesday was a blip tomorrow.
