Can anyone on here or the club, tell me why there was no minute to mark Remembrance Sunday ?, ...Which for you who don't know is tomorrow.

It may not mean alot to most people, but to a sado like me it does....

Honestly hadn't occured to me today. I did observe two minutes silence on the 11th though and will be doing the same at 11 tomorrow morning.

Disagree - I'm really pleased Armistice Day is now as important if not more so than Remembrance Sunday and that the traffic stopped in London - next year I think the trains should as well, but I don't think we should dilute it further. I think it would lose some of its power if we did so.

Cant agree with that all. Id rather remember the fallen that gave their life so that others may have freedom rather than remember some deal with the Germans.

I think the two minutes silence on the 11th and on the Sunday is sufficient and I observe both.
I also think those religeous fanatic scum that disrupted it this year should be arrested and deported.
I just watched bits of the X-Factor (don't ask me why) and think that people that wear their poppy as a fashion statement don't really get the point of it all. A simple British Legion poppy is all that's required, worn on the left breast, not some piece of high class jewellery the makers of which probably don't make a donation to the Legion.
