And here we go again: when will this club help itself? Or does it have no interest in doing so?

I'm recycling other posts but:

no programmes
no beer
no clue

Today was a licence to print money and the club failed. But was it bothered in succeeding?

1,512. If that's the standard of arithmetic at PVR then no wonder we're in trouble.

In answer to your three questions, never, yes and no. The Hobbins' need to leave, as simple as that. With them in charge, money making ideas will just go over their heads.

Re Bar -

As stated in previous threads we have no money to do major revamp of bar - granted

But we could do a Claire Sweeney TV Show type of make over - have a make Over day in the closed season - paint/ artex the place white with a tint of Red - If Bruno has not sold all the vintage shirts - we frame them and hang the on the wall along with a photos of past heroes and welling memorabilia etc - This at least would make it feel and look like a wings bar.

if we can not have sky at present  we make sure Football focus result on H/T & F/T or  we play dvds of past Welling games - iE if playiing staines we play dvd highlights of past welling  staines games - their supporters would feel welcome - I sure JGFC must have an archive of games. Classic welling games on at other times until sky.

The sad reality is once again this would fall on the onus of the fans goodwill to come in a do the work, (although I would suggest that we advertise for help with the Bexley Council Volunteer Service ) - and it would probally mean we ask people to turn up with a piant bush and donote a tin of paint or bag of artex etc.

However major stumbling block - we need permission from Barrie

this is the bottom line of the whole thing - they are so stuck in their ways nothing will change

it's a shame though as i really think we could be a successful little club under the right ownership

On a positve note a mate of mine got some £15 tickets for boardroom hospitality.
That encluded entrance and seat in main stand and a program, tea coffee & biscuits before the match, sandwiches etc at HT and afterwards there was pasta and shephards pie, good value for money.
