Booth scored again. Why the f**k did we sell a 20 goal a season man for 6 grand? Stuff the fact he lives in peterboro. We have given one of our rivals a massive help and weakened our chances. The sooner this club starts WANTING to win and WANTING to keep their best players they will start getting better.
Its not as if they have spent a penny out of the money they have received on getting in players of equal standard to those that have been ALLOWED to leave.

Needed pronto (how about spending some of that money from Smith and Booth sales??) Center Midfielder or Center Half (to free Perkins) STRIKER who is PROVEN to get around 20 goals at this level. Dont gimme the bollix about they dont go on trees or are too dear. We had one and sold him for 6 grand and he was on contract! We need him replacing with someone as good otherwise why sell him he was on contract.jim
Richie Hanlon and Dryden would be a start. Should be able to afford those with the money they are sitting on from transfers. Pennock has already stated in publick that those he has brought in are paid considerably less than those hes let go. Add that to the two big fees we received for Smith and Boothy then we can see there is plenty in the coffers to bring in a decent player to add to the squad (and its needed), Stadhart and Shearer could be out for ages. Or do we just wait till stadhart is training, then getting match fit (with no reserves).
