I went to the Charlton v Luton FA Cup game yesterday as I was not able to get to  Farnborough. Difficult to believe Luton were 2 leagues lower that Charlton and felt they deserved the draw. Although ref gave them a very dubious penalty in the first half and waved on a sure fire penalty in the second.

Assuming all goes well for us on Wednesday this result could be a blessing for us. I would assume that the replay would be midweek prior to our tie on the Saturday. I did speak to some Luton dignataries at the final whistle and suggested they should concentrate on the replay and the league and not worry about the FAT.

One of the linos was a Mr N Lugg who I am sure has been a ref at PVR.

Yes, the FAC replay will be the Tuesday prior to our match with Luton.  Let's hope they go to extra time and penalties!

I was also at the Charlton Luton game and agrree with Squarevanman. Penalty was definately a dive but late on Luton should have had one. If it wasn't a penalty then the bloke should have been booked for diving. They did tend to have a few divers in the team.

They didn't let Charlton settle and deserved the draw. I think Charlton will win the replay though especially with drawing Tottenham in the next round.

The away stand (Jimmy Seed) was full and that holds 3,000 so I would ecpect a decent crowd for the Trophy.
