Welling are in deep "doo daa" as according to a friend of mine working on the Welling case at the HMRC, Welling as yet haven't paid a penny of what's due, and their chairman has been seen there begging for more time to resolve this issue, sadly............

for him, the HMRC told him where to go.

Have the HMRC predjudiced our case if their staff are divulging critical info to general public especially rival fans who may know potential investors?

It doesn't matter if it's libel or not does it. No one is going to sue anyone anyway.

The issue here is whether a Chelmsford City supporter should post on a public forum what a mate in a seemingly obvious position of authority, or in a post with access to certain information, at HMRC has allegedly divulged to said supporter according to the poster.  I notice that this message from the Chelmsford forum has also now been posted on the Unofficial Conference South Forum.  I would have thought that any HMRC case was governed by the utmost, strict, confidentiality - especially a few days before a High Court hearing.

Is this grounds for an adjournment then? Wouldn't that be funny if a Chelmsford fan has unintentionally helped us out!

or the Chelmo fan could have made it up - it is second or third hand and I think we are clutching at straws if we think that this will help. We would have to have names and details not an anonymous message on a board who says his mate told him...

Ive emailed barry some details that could help. I think if our legal people throw names at them and say whats going on here youve seriously harmed a last minute take over and threw names at them they may have to adjourn to investigate it which gives us more time.... it could throw a spanner in the works... it may be all we have at the end of the day. We are told nothing.

let's say that all happens and we survive for a couple more months nothing will change and we will still owe £40000-50000

the club has had months to raise the cash and has done ziltch so i dont see what would change if we get a reprieve
