Hi chaps, just wanted to say thoughts are with you today for a positive outcome.
Welling is the '2nd team' for many Charlton fans, and favourably thought of by the rest.
Breaks my heart seeing Welling in such a perilous state, been semi-regular over PVR since the mid-80s and had some brilliant laughs behind the goal. The banter at Welling has always been a cut above everywhere else, and the dedication of the regulars since the drop from the conference is never i think properly recognised.
Cheers for that, and thanks for the support at the friendlies (and sponsoring shirts this season from Charlton Life). Bit dissapointing that when we were up the creek, Charlton fans said lets get a few hundred down there and help them... a handful came top wack for one game.
But over the years your support for friendlies has been appreciated. IF we can get through this perhaps we can increase the bond and make offers for CAFC fans when the addicks are away.
